The dark comedy series will air in October and will showcase new critically acclaimed actors
The American dark comedy series, Fargo, is returning to television screens on October 12.
Last season showcased various famous Hollywood actors such as Billy Bob Thornton, Allison Tolman, Colin Hanks, Martin Freeman, Bob Odenkirk, Keith Carradine and Joey King. The critical acclaim of the cryptic mystery show has now attracted an even more promising cast, including the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson, Jean Smart, Angus Sampson and Adam Arkin.
Each season of the comedic thriller possesses a separate plot, taking place in a different time period. The first instalment was set in 2006 in Minnesota when a questionable character passes through the town of Bemidji, exerting violence and deception into the community.
The new season will take place in 1979, and will focus on the story of a Vietnam veteran, who solves a variety of crimes, and also is assigned with the task of protecting former United States president, Ronald Reagan.
