Supermodel Iman Abdulmajid has opened up about her ­marriage to David Bowie, confirming she will never remarry after his passing in 2016.

Describing her "ordinary" daily life with the highly influential British musician, Iman insists that their love was the everyday kind.

“David is in our hearts and minds on a daily basis, for all of us," she tells Harpers Bazaar.

“You know, this was my true love. My daughter once asked me if I would ever marry again and I said, ‘never.’”

The 65-year-old tied the knot with Bowie in Switzerland in 1992, giving birth to their daughter Alexandria eight years later.

“It could not have been more regular. It was a really everyday marriage," Iman continues.

“He was a very funny, warm gentleman. Everyone talks about him being futuristic, but he was not, he liked more than anything to wear a three-piece suit. It was a beautiful, ­ordinary life and that was what was great about it.

“We could live in New York, pick up our daughter from school, walk everywhere. I wish we had had more years.”

Bowie died on January 10th, 2016, at the age of 69.

His final ever song, Lazarus - from his Blackstar album released just two days before his death - ended with the lyrics, “You know, I’ll be free. Just like that bluebird.”

“On the day of his passing, I went on a hike and a bluebird flew in front of me,” Iman added.
