Irish artist Laura Sheeran is also set to appear as part of the upcoming CatSong Festival.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Yusuf / Cat Stevens' classic 1970 albums Tea For The Tillerman and Mona Bone Jakon, a new virtual festival celebrating the legendary singer-songwriter's music has been announced. The CatSong Festival takes place on December 5 at 8pm Irish time, and will feature performances from Haim, Feist, Imelda May, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & Matt Sweeney, Laura Sheeran, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, James Morrison, Ron Sexsmith, Brandon Boyd and many more.
The virtual concert will also support Peacetrain, a charity initiative by the Yusuf Islam Foundation, "with an emphasis on feeding programmes, solar water wells and peace building projects."
