Spatial audio, video, and shopping experiences take place this month ahead of the late icon’s 75th birthday.
Although Rock icon David Bowie would have turned 75 on January 8, 2022, the singer's estate has announced the beginning of a “year-long celebration,” of the star's legacy on October 25.
A major celebration of his three-quarter century mark will blast off in New York and London through two limited-time pop-up experiences commemorating all things Bowie.
The Bowie 75 campaign was announced on October 13, revealing the two curated experiential shops will be located in emblematic Bowie locations and launching exactly 75 days before his birthday anniversary.
14 Heddon Street in London is the location of the photoshoot for the iconic cover of Bowie's 1972 The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars album, while 150 Wooster St. in New York is described as being just "steps away" from Bowie's longtime downtown neighborhood.
The immersive exhibitions will offer visitors a 360 Reality Audio and HD video experience using Sony's spatial sound technology, as well as hours of previously unseen and behind-the-scenes material from the Heathen (2002) and Reality (2003) eras.

Fans can also purchase limited-edition exclusive Bowie gear, collectibles and limited-run CD/LPs, digitally try on some of his legendary costumes for social media snaps and witness exclusive fine art photography documenting the 'Space Oddity' singer's many eras.
Toy, which was recorded in 2001 and leaked online in 2011, will be released in a three-CD box set on 7 January, the day before the singer's birthday.
