A welcome return for Common Factor – ‘In Between’ is Detroit-y house with an electro-funk feel, while the excellent ‘In Troubles…’ is a belter, crisp Motor City drums, washing machine bassline and shimmering keys and chords. But the gem is by Daniel Ibbotson, who turns in a beauty – glacial strings, nagging riff, D.May bass all with a glam rock groove. Word.
