Shane Linehan, the Cork producer, has released a three-track EP on London’s WetYourSelf! Recordings. He’s also boss of vinyl–only label Basic Grooves Records, fans of which include Jus Ed, Norm Talley, Kerri Chandler, DJ Deep and Mosca. Aspects Of Change is his first release with WYS! and showcases a tougher techno side. There’s a hot launch party at Fabric, London, on July 21 with support from Peter Pixzel, Cormac and Jacob Husley. Residence are the people behind those fantastic parties we’ve been raving about. You know what I’m referring to! Well, they’re about to launch a new brand club called Jack. The focus is house and techno. It will run every Friday in The Button Factory, Dublin. Tale Of Us were just over to rock the joint. Future appearances are confirmed from Flashmob, Butch, Fritz Kalkbrenner and Prince Club. The evening is run by Marcus O’Sullivan and David De Valera.

Sirkus Sirkuz, from Derry, has teamed up with Peter Silbermann for a VS’s track on Roc Star Records. ‘Keep On Giving’ has balls and does what it says on the tin. Support is from Benny Benassi. Peter Silbermann is actually ‘Justify’ from iRadio and one half of Galactus, a duo signed to Cheap Thrills Records. Kildare born, County Longford-residing producer Imploded View releases ‘That’s Thrift’ on June 22 through Dublin’s Psychonavigation Records. The single is from debut album Picnics With Pylons, and gets the remix treatment courtesy of Scottish indie poppers Looper.
