Featuring boygenius's Phoebe Bridgers, Arlo Parks' new track 'Pegasus' from her upcoming album My Soft Machine is a soft bisexual anthem about "finding a real home in another human being."
Alternative artist Arlo Parks has just released the music video for her new single 'Pegasus,' a track she says is "ready to terrorise the souls of all bisexuals with the softest love song in the world."
Featuring indie legend and boygenius band member Phoebe Bridgers, the heavily hyped song comes straight from Parks' upcoming sophomore album, My Soft Machine. It's the fourth song to be released from it after singles like 'Blades,' ' Weightless,' and 'Impurities.'
On Instagram, Arlo Parks revealed some of the meaning behind the stunning single.
"This song is about the purity and rarity of true love, that feeling of solidity, of finding a real home in another human being, or wanting to be better with/for someone but being held as you are. The video captures that frenetic joy and energy - the barren backdrop of the desert, finding relief and colour after a long time of being alone."

Earlier this week on Twitter, the bisexual icon coyly added additional hints to the contents of the video, promising "desert poppy flowers, recently passed her driving test Arlo, a sailor and open skies."
With the reassuring and intimate affirmation, "I think you're special 'cause you told me," she didn't disappoint. As promised, the music video features Arlo Parks in the middle of a Californian desert. There, she picks a cassette tape out of a box, which had been left in a grave-like pit, and takes a drive with it - from there, she finds others lost and takes them along for the journey.
The album in its entirety is due to come out later this month, on May 26th. Following its release, Arlo Parks is due to play at 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin as a part of her My Soft Machine tour on September 5th.
