The annual North Cork festival had previously announced headliners Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Biffy Clyro and Gavin James.
A slate of Irish acts have been added to the loaded bill for this summer's Indiependence Festival. The three day festival spans 2-4 August and is held at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown.
Indie folk band Brave Giant will be gracing this year's festival stage. The group released their debut EP in 2016 and have since appeared on The Late Late Show and played festivals including Electric Picnic and Longitude.
Singer-songwriter Sorcha Richardson has also been added to the bill. Splitting her time between Dublin and New York, the rising star has collaborated with All Tvvins and held a run of sold-out head line gigs. She will release her highly anticipated debut album later this year.
RuthAnne first established herself in the music industry as a highly successful songwriter. She has penned numerous hits including JoJo's 'Too Little Too Late', Britney Spear's 'Work Bitch' and Nial Horan's 'Slow Hands' among many more. Last year, she released her debut single 'The Vow' and will be releasing her debut album later this year.
Esoteric alt-pop group Happyalone, indie-pop artist Somebody's Child, sing-songwriter Oscar Blue, and rock band State Lights have all also been announced for the festival.
