To bring the track to life, the Dubliners joined forces with producer Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Jessie Ware, Maggie Rogers) and House Gospel Choir on backing vocals.
Inhaler have today announced their return with the release of a brand-new single. Inspired by ‘70s arena rock and a sweeping choral backing, ‘Your House’ was recorded with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Kid Harpoon and features accompanying vocals from the House Gospel Choir.
“We’re an ambitious band that wants to create anthemic music, particularly when things feel so destructive,” says Inhaler frontman Elijah Hewson. “’Your House’ is about belonging to someone or something that’s bad for you,” he continues. “The verse is blasé but the chorus feels spiritual. I love that contrast.”
Since launching their career in 2018, Inhaler have cemented themselves among some of the biggest names on the international pop-rock scene, achieving commercial acclaim with their chart-vaulting hits. Their debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This reached #1 in the UK and Ireland.
Striving to keep the momentum going, bandmates and childhood friends Hewson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon and Josh Jenkinson have kept their heads down and worked tirelessly, embarking on a relentless worldwide tour for the past few years. Their various stints have included support gigs with Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, Harry Styles and Kings of Leon, as well as their own headliners, including a sold-out homecoming gig at Dublin’s 3Arena last year.

Having begun work on their third album earlier this year, the band decided to challenge themselves and leap out of their comfort zone, consulting a wide range of influences from Nick Cave to techno. They recorded the album in London with legendary producer Kid Harpoon, who won a GRAMMY in recent years for his work on Harry Styles’ chart-topping album Harry’s House, including the lead single ‘As It Was’.
The band are currently on a month-long tour of North America where they have been debuting songs from their upcoming album, soon to be announced.
