Fellow Dubliners Sounds Of System Breakdown throw a hometown lauch party on May 24 for their Nomad album in the Grand Social. The three-piece’s debut was favourably compared to LCD Soundsystem, Talking Heads, Soulwax and Depeche Mode and the new departure ploughs similar indie dance furrows. The combo, which comprises Rob Costello, Richy Kelly and Ed Costello, recently impressed with the well-received Colour EP. Dublin four-piece Tarantella Fall are gearing up for the launch of their first single ‘Home’, from their forthcoming second album, in Whelan’s June 7. It’s been produced by Dave ‘Skippy’ Christophers, who they worked with on their first long-player, Abandoned Road.
