We take a look at some of the best international festivals happening this summer.
June 21–23
Kent, UK
Band Of Horses, John Butler Trio, The Staves, Kris Kristofferson & The Strangers, Billy Bragg, Neko Case, Lucero, Brant Bjork, The Wandering Hearts, Hayseed Dixie, Jessie Buckley, The Mavericks.
Set on the sweeping grounds of the majestic Eridge Park, Black Deer is a three-day celebration of the best of Americana and country. In addition to the music, the festival is an all-round ode to the communities, cultures, storytellers and memories that make up this most authentic of worlds, with wholesome food & drink, artisan wares and custom-built motorcycles just some of the other means of paying homage to the cultural heritage of America. This year’s festival features a highly anticipated performance by our Best of Ireland cover star, Jessie Buckley, playing songs from the soundtrack of the highly acclaimed Wild Rose.
