Interpol have unveiled a new live album Live at Third Man Records, which the band recorded direct-to-acetate at Third Man Records’ Blue Room in Nashville, Tennessee back in June.
The album comprises eight songs pulled from the New York outfit’s discography, with the lead single ‘Say Hello to the Angels’ - originally from their debut album - released today alongside the news. Listen to the new live track and check out the tracklist below.
Live at Third Man Records lands on December 6th and features a cover photograph by Angelina Castillo and packaging design by Sarah Goldstein. The live record follows the 2022 studio album The Other Side of Make-Believe and a recent Antics reissue.
A band known for their live performances, Interpol recently embarked on a worldwide tour performing, in full, their lauded album Antics, which included a stop at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 10.
The band were our November dual-cover stars and spoke about the 20th-anniversary tour, with frontman Paul Banks telling Paul Nolan: “It’s crazy how time passes, it doesn’t feel like 20 years. You hear people say that kind of thing all the time, but it’s true. It doesn’t quite feel like yesterday, but it doesn’t feel like 20 years either.”
