Arctic Monkeys are the only international act in this week's Independent Albums Chart Top 5
This week's Independent Album Chart is led by Irish acts – including an impressive debut from Lankum with Live In Dublin at No.2.
The No.1 spot on this week's Irish Independent Album Chart goes, once again, to KNEECAP, with their acclaimed debut album Fine Art. The 2 Johnnies, meanwhile, are at No.3 on the chart with Small Town Heroes, followed by James Vincent McMorrow with Wide Open, Horses at No.4.
The only international act in the Top 5 are Arctic Monkeys, as their 2013 album AM continues to prove popular at No.5.
Lankum also debuted within the Top 50 on the Official Irish Albums Chart – with Live In Dublin, released last Friday, landing in at No.46. KNEECAP's Fine Art is at No.24 on the same chart, following a strong debut at No.2 last week.
Live In Dublin scored a 9.5-star review in Hot Press, with Caroline Kelly writing that "the live energy hits you right between the eyes, in a way that the studio recordings, exquisite as they are, cannot."
