Another major concert has been announced under the Irish Artists For Palestine banner – with The Saw Doctors, The Stunning, Mary Black and more now set to play 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on Tuesday, November 28.
Irish Artists For Palestine describes itself as "a coalition of artists announcing an all-island programme of solidarity events in light of the current genocidal attack and siege on Gaza, and the ongoing occupation of Palestine." Their programme of events kicks off this month, with an emphasis on active solidarity and fundraising to meet the urgent medical and humanitarian needs in Gaza.
The line-up for the night also includes Frances Black, Mary Coughlan, Fiachna Ó Braonáin & Tom Dunne, Mundy, MC Abdul, Cormac Breatnach & Band, Roisin El Cherif, Dee Armstrong And The Free Speaking Monkeys, Bernadette McAliskey, Eoin Dillon & Band, Aoife Scott, Catherine Young Dance, Sky Atlas, Steo Wall, Ultan Conlon, Honor Heffernan & Trevor Knight, and Wise Wolf.
The Palestinian ambassador to Ireland, Dr Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid, will also be in attendance on the night.
Tickets are priced from €30, and go on sale tomorrow, November 3, at 9am. All proceeds will go to the Irish Red Cross.
Irish Artists For Palestine have also organised a gig in Vicar Street on the same night, November 28, featuring music from Lankum, The Mary Wallopers, Damien Dempsey, Lisa O'Neill and more.

Meanwhile, in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, a Palestine solidarity gig is set to take place at the Fulacht Fiadh Café this Sunday, November 5, at 3pm.
