The free event, celebrating the release of the The Metropolitan Project EP, kicks off at Yamamori Tengu in Dublin this Saturday at 6pm.
Irish artists ØMEGA and Ill Diam have announced a release party at Yamamori Tengu in Dublin for their upcoming collaborative EP, The Metropolitan Project. The free event takes place this Saturday April 6, and will feature live sets from ØMEGA and Ill Diam, as well as South African-Irish hip-hop artist Awkward Z and Clondalkin producer Marcus Woods.
Hot Press premiered 'Any Day', the first single from ØMEGA and Ill Diam's upcoming EP, two weeks ago. The pair have since released an addition single, 'Chérie', before The Metropolitan Project drops on Friday, April 5.
Ardee, Co. Louth-raised rapper ØMEGA began his career several years ago, under the alias Tommy G. Now aged 21, he has adopted a new moniker, and has signed to London-based brand/record label Waverton Corp. In partnership with WordUp Collective, ØMEGA performed on both the Arlot and Mindfield stages at Electric Picnic in 2018.
Dublin-based producer Ill Diam, ØMEGA's collaborator on the upcoming EP, first appeared on the airwaves with the Souletiquette collective on RTÉ Pulse in 2014. With a sound that combines hip-hop, trap, R&B, jazz, afrobeat and house, the 24-year-old producer performed at both Longitude and Electric Picnic last year with Souletiquette. His debut single 'Ridin' Round' was also featured on Spotify's 'New Music Friday UK' at the start of 2019.
The release party, hosted by Waverton Corp in collaboration with Souletiquette, is an 18+ event, and takes place this Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. Register for free at Eventbrite. See set times below:
