For the second week in a row, Leonard Cohen tops the Irish charts!
It's that time of the week again, and not much has changed over the past seven days. According to the Irish Music Charts, Leonard Cohen's album You Want it Darker reigns supreme at number one. The album, which as been dubbed Cohen's most haunting LP yet, came out October 21, just one month after the singer's 82nd birthday.
Following in Cohen's footsteps are two new chart toppers. The 2012 X-Factor winner James Arthur comes in at number two with the album Back from the Edge. At number three, Dublin's very own Declan O'Rourke's In Full Colour takes a turn on the Irish charts. The third newbie to the top ten, Planxty, sits at number ten with their Irish-folk album Between the Jigs and the Reels.
