‘Spree’ is the Belfast native’s most recent single
Some lo-fi techno with a hint of indie guitar provides the platform for this track. However, the most interesting feature of the song is its atmospheric harmonies that seem to ghost around in the distance. It’s heavily layered but it manages to feel meaningful while remaining upbeat.
The video was directed by Theo Watkins of Old Rope Films.
“The video was all shot in my flat in East London with a load of my pals, and although there’s a narrative there – we’re just having a good time really,” she Logan. “We did it on one roll of 16mm film, which made it feel quite organic.”
Born in Belfast but based in London, Aislinn Logan released 'Spree' as a single last month.

“We’ve all got different nuances, even different versions of ourselves – and that can vary drastically,” she said about the song. “We wanted to convey that spectrum here and how it can unwind. The song itself questions whether it’s even possible to reveal everything.”
With an EP on the way, we’ll be hearing more music from Aislinn Logan soon.
