Listen to the new track from Pablo Kush below
With a string of well-received singles under his belt already this year, Ireland's Pablo Kush has teamed up with prolific New York rapper Masta Killa – a member of the Wu-Tang Clan – on his brand new single, ' 'Pill$'.
"I've had this one in the vault for a number of years now but with great excitement I can finally announce that me and Masta Killa will be dropping our single 'PILL$' this Friday!" Pablo Kush wrote online. "I'm the first Irish rapper to feature with a member of the Wu-Tang Clan and l'm delighted to create history for our little rap scene..."
Back in 2019, after organising a sold-out show in Berlin, the Irish rapper was invited into the studio by Wu-Tang icon GZA. The group were in the midst of their Enter The 36 Chambers 25th Anniversary Tour, and the likes of RZA, Divine Diggs, and Eva Ries were also in attendance in the studio.
After revealing he was a rapper, Pablo Kush was encouraged to showcase his skills, and he delivered the first verse of his track 'Shook Ones' in front of his long-time musical heroes. Masta Killa suggested a collaboration – and described the demo Pablo Kush subsequently sent him as "some real WU shit," before sending on his own verse for the track.

The epic collaboration was brought to life with a team of top-class producers – including Braths, BGRZ, and Majestic – which Luxembourg's Muntu played a key role in assembling. The track was mixed by Enthic from Prague, and mastered by Sascha "Busy" Buehren.
Clearly, Pablo Kush has been steadily establishing himself as a powerful emerging force in international hip-hop – having already shared stages with the likes of DJ Yella, Onyx, and Ghostface Killa, as well as working with Drumla, Luci G, Gezin of 808 Mafia, Rott, Rizzo8, and CohenLabs, among others.
His collaboration with Masta Killa marks a major milestone moment not only for his own career, but for Irish hip-hop on the world stage.
