Watch the honoured Irish singer-songwriters perform tonight, July 15, and for the next four weeks in celebration of the launch of their Glastonbury stamp collection.
Christy Moore, Sinéad O'Connor, Lisa Hannigan, and Andrew Hozier-Byrne (Hozier) will be featured on a new stamp collection from An Post. A portion of every purchase of the stamp booklets of the Irish singer-songwriters will benefit the Music Industry COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
The stamps – designed by Dublin's Shaughn McGrath Creative, who have also designed stamps for artists like U2 – honour the musicians' performances at Glastonbury Festival throughout their careers.
On the An Post website, they describe the new collection as "a set of very special stamps that celebrate Ireland's world-renowned song writing and performing traditions."
In a Tweet, Hozier said being featured in this collection is "hands down one of the greatest honours of [his] life."
It is hands down one of the greatest honours of my life to be featured on an Irish stamp alongside Christy Moore, Lisa Hannigan & Sinead O’Connor. Thank you @Postvox for this honour & for supporting the Irish Music Industry Covid-19 Emergency Relief Fund.https://t.co/dz2kc6Aaob pic.twitter.com/MUUZOnaiyX
