Croatian singer-songwriter Marko Bošnjak will perform the song.
Dublin singer-songwriter Ben Pyne has co-written Croatia’s entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, 'Poison Cake', as reported by RTÉ.
Co-written by Pyne and an international team of collaborators, the track won Croatia’s Dora 2025 last week, securing its spot at Eurovision.
Pyne has worked with a wide range of Irish and European artists across multiple genres. His music has been featured on national and international radio, as well as on major television programmes, such as the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The song will be performed by Croatian singer-songwriter Marko Bošnjak, who first gained prominence after winning the second season of Pinkove Zvezdice, a Serbian talent competition. He previously came close to representing Croatia at Eurovision, finishing as the runner-up in the country's 2022 selection process.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Pyne said he was "so excited to be part of the songwriting team for 'Poison Cake' and #TeamMarko."
Croatia will compete in the first semi-final of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Basel, Switzerland.
