The experimental noisemaking trio join fellow Irish band Sprints on the independent label's roster.
Belfast Post-punk electric trio Chalk have signed to British label Nice Swan Records. Accompanying the annoucment is the release date of their upcoming single 'The Gate', out 23 November.
The independent music label boasts an array of popular alternative acts, featuring the likes of Sports Team, FUR and Ireland's own garage-rockers SPRINTS.
Chalk have established themselves as an unmissable new talent in the UK/Irish scene, earning support has from Steve Lamacq, Jack Saunders, Amy Lamé, The Independent, The New Cue, and DIY.

This year has been a busy one for the trio, having played at Electric Picnic, Ireland Music Week and The Road to The Great Escape. They were also recently added to the Eurosonic 2024 lineup in Gronigen, The Netherlands.
With the release of their debut EP Conditions earlier this year, Chalk displayed their ability interweave industrial noise and techno soundscapes, drawing simialrities to lauded alternative acts like Death Grips and The Murder Capital.
Chalk are currently on tour across Europe, with two upcoming Irish shows planned for December. They play Whelan's on 13 December, and the Mandela Hall in their native Belfast on 16 December - supproting ASIWYFA.
