Iron & Wine Release Details of New Album and New Track

The last Iron & Wine studio album, Ghost On Ghost, was released in 2013.

“To be honest, I’ve named this record BEAST EPIC mostly because it sounds really fucking cool! However, with that said and perhaps to be completely honest, “a story where animals talk and act like people” sounds like the perfect description for the life of any of us. If not that, then it’s at least perfect for any group of songs I’ve ever tried to make,” singer Sam Ervin Beam said in an official statement regarding the release of the album.

Just today, the indie-folk singer has also released a new single from the upcoming album titled “Call It Dreaming”. Check out the video here:

The American singer-songwriter has also announced dates for an upcoming US tour in support of the album but no European dates have been released yet.
