The trad-rock collective will be joined by "elite percussionist Declan Gillen and banjo phenom Paahto Cummins" at their upcoming 3Olympia headline show, and on into the future.
In a post shared to social media this afternoon, Ispíní na hÉireann have announced that founding member Adam Holohan is "stepping away" from the band.
The announcement also revealed details of a new, expanded Ispíní na hÉireann line-up, featuring Declan Gillen and Paahto Cummins.
In addition, the band, fronted by Tomás Mulligan, have told fans that their upcoming album, Poxtail Soup, has been pushed back due to Adam's departure and "some unexpected production challenges" – with the project now expected to be released early this summer.
"After many years of music, laughs, and madness together, we're saying a fond farewell to Adam Holohan, who is stepping away from Ispíní na hÉireann," the collective's post reads. "We're grateful for all the memories and tunes we've shared, and we wish Adam nothing but the very best on whatever comes next for him."
They go on to note that Declan and Paahto will be joining the band for their upcoming 3Olympia Theatre headline show on May 1, and on into the future.

"It's going to be a celebration of where we've been and where we're headed," they said of the show, "and we can't wait to see everyone there because we've never been this excited about our sound."
Ispíní's origins stretch back to a trip to Slovakia in 2017, when Adam and Tomás 'discovered how much they enjoyed playing music together and decided to start a band.'
They went on to add cellist/fiddle player Aongus MacAmhlaigh and saxophone/flute/uilleann pipes player Pádraig Óg Mac Aodhagáin to their ranks.

In addition to their own sold-out shows, the band have also opened for the likes of the Dropkick Murphys, The Wolfe Tones, and The Scratch.
They released their debut album, The Hard Working Men, in 2022, followed by their Worse Things Than Dying EP in 2023.
