Ispíní na hÉireann feature on soundtrack of new Netflix series Below
The Dublin band's track 'Bash Bash Bash' – which has been streamed over 1.7 million times on Spotify – features in the third episode of the popular new Netflix series.
Fresh from Tomás Mulligan's cameo in the Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger documentary – performing a rousing rendition of 'Rocky Road To Dublin' – his voice is reaching new international audiences through the screen once again, as his band Ispíní na hÉireann are featured as part of the soundtrack for Netflix's thriller series Below.
The Newfoundland-set miniseries, which landed on the streaming service earlier this month, stars major names like Josh Hartnett (Trap, Oppenheimer, The Virgin Suicides) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things). Last week, it premiered at the top of Netflix's English TV list, with 17 million views – breaking the record for the most-viewed debut of a Netflix Canadian title.
Ispíní na hÉireann's track 'Bash Bash Bash' – which has been streamed over 1.7 million times on Spotify – features at the end of the third episode of Below. It appeared on their 2022 debut album, The Hard Working Men.
Other artists who have featured as part of the Below soundtrack include The Waterboys, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, Gerry Rafferty, Eagles Of Death Metal, and Iggy Pop.
The Dublin folk band – currently made up of Mulligan, Paahto Cummins, and Declan Gillen – released their latest album, Poxtail Soup, in November 2025. Earlier that year, they played their biggest headline show to date, at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre, featuring special guests Madra Salach.
