Dublin trad punks Ispíní na hÉireann will perform at Electric Picnic’s Electric Arena stage on Saturday 2 September at 3:15pm.
“Ireland’s hardest working band” are set to provide an entertainingly raucous show, showcasing original and reinvented tunes for their debut record, The Hardest Working Men, along with some much-anticipated new music.
Ispíní na hÉireann’s music is a combination of original songs as well as reimagined covers, all influenced by the Irish musical tradition.

The band profess that there are layers of subtext and commentary in their music, and a genuine method to all the madness- it’s up to the audience to decide whether or not this is all waffle, or if deeper meaning can be found amidst the chaotic noise.
Their EP show will be their last festival of the season, and last big gig their before their much anticipated concert at the Academy in Dublin on 21 December 21.
