The musician rose to prominence in the '60s and '70s as a founding member of the Jackson 5
U.S. guitarist and singer Tito Jackson has died at age 70. While an official cause of death has yet to be determined, members of the family have reported that Jackson most likely suffered a heart attack.
Throughout his musical career, Tito achieved three Grammy Awards and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted him as a member of the Jackson 5 with brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael.
Being one of 9 children, Tito was the third oldest of his siblings, which included the mega pop star Micheal Jackson, who passed in 2009.
Born on Oct. 15, 1953, as a member of the Jackson 5 Tito performed iconic hits such as ABC, The Love You Save and I Want You Back.

In the days before his passing, Tito posted a message on social media accompanying a visit to a memorial of his brother, Michael Jackson.
Tito wrote, "Before our show in Munich, my brothers Jackie, Marlon, and I, visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson."
He continued, "We're deeply grateful for this special place that honours not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive."
Tito's Sons Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson have said in a statement that they are "shocked, saddened, and heartbroken," by the news of their father's sudden passing.
They concluded their post by saying, "It will forever be “Tito Time” for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached and that is “Love One Another.” We love you Pops. Your boys, Taj, Taryll and TJ."
