The singer-songwriter will spend four nights in Dublin this summer.
Jackson Browne has announced that he will be coming to Vicar Street, not just once, or twice, not even just three times, but four nights in a row! Browne will be kicking off his summer tour here in Ireland before continuing on to Scotland and England. The tour starts on June 12, with performances every night at Vicar Street until June 16. Tickets for the Vicar Street gigs go on sale Monday 12 December at 9am and are expected to go fast! Check www.jacksonbrowne.com for more details.
On this summer tour Browne is accompanied by a band that he himself has called his "ideal band, with some of my favorite players." He will be collaborating once more with Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (Vocals) and the talented multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel). Browne says that his band's "combined gifts provide the musical foundation and emotional underpinnings of my new songs. The interplay between Val McCallum and Greg Leisz - the effortlessness of their chemistry is a gift really, that just dropped into my lap. I feel fortunate to have them out on the road for this tour.”
Tickets will be available through all usual online outlets, with the Vicar Street tickets on sale Monday morning. Check out the dates for the full tour below.
