British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has announced a spate of UK/Ireland performances as part of his Your Town 2024 tour, with dates in Cork, Galway, and Limerick next June.

With local venues constantly under threat of closure post-covid, and grassroots music scenes dwindling, the tour will see Bugg play 15 intimate shows in smaller venues across the UK and Ireland, in hopes of renewing the spirit of live music within communities; bringing a high-profile live show back to towns that have seen stark declines in performances from touring artists in recent years.

“I can’t wait to get out and play tons of tunes to people in their hometowns," Jake says of the newly announced performances. Performing two sets per night, acoustic  and electric, Jake will run through his lauded hits, as well as newer cuts from his fifth studio effort, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. Since landing on the British alternative scene in a big way with his eponymous debut album, Bugg's blues-inflected amalgam of indie folk, alternative rock and wry singer-songwriter lyricism have garnered him emphatic critical praise, new tracks 'All I Need' & 'Lost' seeing extensive airplay from the likes of Radio 2 & Radio X.

Now 29, at the height of his powers, and with 5 albums under his belt, Bugg is set for a run of the UK and Ireland; performing at Cyprus Avenue in Cork on the 19th of June, and Black Box in Galway on the 20th, before closing out the tour at Dolans in Limerick on the 22nd.
