Multiplatinum British singer-songwriter James Bay shared a new music video for his single 'Peer Pressure' featuring Julia Michaels.
Since his breakthrough in 2014, James Bay has found popularity with his skilled vocals and deft musicality. Winning the BRIT’s Critics Choice award in 2015, Bay went on to receive a BRIT award for “Best Male Solo Artist” and eventually received Grammy nominations for “Best Rock Album,” “Best Rock Song,” and “Best New Artist". In addition to selling out shows and performing at festivals around the world, Bay is an advocate for the international non-profit Wateraid, designed his own signature line for Topman, and had a Limited-Edition James Bay Signature “1966 Century” Guitar created in his name by Epiphone.
Julia Michaels has penned songs for major stars in pop music including Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, Fifth Harmony and Shawn Mendes. She released her debut solo single 'Issues' in 2017, which reached 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her following debut album Nervous System was also met with great success, and Michaels went on to tour with Shawn Mendes, Maroon 5 and Keith Urban. Her newest EP Inner Monologue Part 1 was released this past January.
Their new single 'Peer Pressure' has already garnered 15 million Spotify streams and counting. In a stripped-down new music video, the two bask in their raw musical power, serenading each other on a bare stage.
