You're Stronger Than You Know, a new album from soul singer-songwriter James Morrison, is set to be released this Friday, March 8.
Inspired by the classic soul of the Motown and Stax eras, James Morrison's upcoming album provides a strong follow up to his previous release, 2015's Higher Than Here. Facing relationship turbulence and songwriting block, Morrison emerged from this struggle with a collection of new material that contains both darkness and light.
Hailing from Warwickshire, England, James Morrison began busking as a teenager, and then playing in bars, before finding breakthrough success with his 2006 debut single 'You Give Me Something'. From there, Morrison's soulful songwriting has brought him a BRIT award, two #1 albums and 7 million sales. His upcoming release, You're Stronger Than You Know, features emotional explorations of his upbringing, family and artistic process, in combination with energetic instrumentations from his band. Recorded at British Grove Studios in London, producer Mark Taylor brings a cohesive and classic vision to the album.
James Morrison has further announced that he is headed on his first full UK tour in three years. This tour also includes a stop in Dublin at the Olympia Theatre on April 4th. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
You're Stronger Than You Know will be released March 8th from Stanley Park Records, and is available for pre-order now.
