You can see Kojaque on St. Patrick’s Day as part of JAMESON CONNECTS JESSIE REYEZ AND FRIENDS – also featuring Jessie Reyez, Denise Chaila, Junia-T, Savannah Ré and Unorthodox Coolock – at Jameson Connects.
Jameson Connects' global St Patrick's Day celebration is just around the corner – on Wednesday, March 17 – and features some of the most exciting names in R&B, hip-hop and rap, including Kojaque. So join in, wherever you are!
The hotly tipped Dublin rapper has rapidly established himself as one of the most thrilling new forces in hip-hop, on these shores and beyond. Over the last few months, Kojaque has offered us a taste of what to expect from his highly anticipated debut album, out later this year, with 'Shmelly' (which he premiered on the hugely popular music platform COLORS), 'Coming Up' and 'No Hands'.
His debut album is set to be the latest landmark on what's already been a remarkable career – following the release of his Choice Music Prize-nominated concept tape Deli Daydreams in 2018, and his 2019 collaborative mixtape with Luka Palm, Green Diesel. Since being tipped as one of the Hot Press 'Hot For 2019' Irish Acts, he's enjoyed several high-profile festival appearances; a support slot for Lana Del Rey at Malahide Castle; and a coveted spot on YouTube Music's Foundry programme.
If that's not keeping him busy enough, Kojaque is also transforming the Irish music scene as a co-founder of Soft Boy Records, which has rapidly built up a reputation as one of the most forward-thinking, boundary-pushing independent labels in the country – with a roster that includes fellow co-founder Kean Kavanagh, Gaptoof, Five To Two, Luka Palm, Brién, Wastefellow, Henry Earnest, jarjarjr and Matt Finnegan.
Jameson is about connection. Connecting you to your favourite artists. Local scenes to global communities. And everything in between. Join in wherever you are this St. Patrick's Day at Jameson Connects.
