The Dutch artist returns to Whelan's tonight for a headline gig following the release of her new music video.
With so many great gigs across Ireland this weekend, be sure to find time to stop at Upstairs at Whelan's tonight for Jane Willow's set. The Dutch folk musician has been playing across the country including at Vicar Street, Whelan's, Temple Bar Tradfest, and Electric Picnic.
Willow has also supported Glen Hansard, The Unthanks, Kíla, Nicki Bluhm, and Mark Geary.
"I can’t wait to play with my amazing band," said Willow of her show tonight.
Willow recently premiered the music video for her single 'Rise Above it All', which has been played on BBC Radio Ulster, RTE Radio 1, and PLAY IRISH.
"To me, this song is about people who are looking to ‘rise above’ something that's holding them back," she says. "In the video a little girl dreams of becoming an astronaut, but her schoolwork and dyslexia are holding her back."

"Fun fact," she adds, "A large percentage of NASA employees are dyslexic. They’re known to have great problem solving skills and excellent spatial awareness."
The Dutch musician moved to Ireland at age 21 to pursue music. She cites Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake as musical influences for her folk- and country-laced music.
