The English rising star is set to join Janelle Monáe's Summer Series show at Trinity College Dublin as a special guest.
One of Hot Press's Hot for 2019 International Acts, Grace Carter, has been announced as the support act for Janelle Monáe's highly anticipated Dublin show this July. Grammy Award-nominated performer/actress/active Monáe will headline Trinity College Dublin on July 3, as part of the ongoing Summer Series.
Monáe made a major splash with her third album, Dirty Computer, described by a Hot Press as "a classic", and her "most interesting, innovative and historically significant" work to date.
2016 saw Monáe embark on her film acting career with stellar performances in two milestone films, Hidden Figures and Moonlight. Both films received Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, with the latter winning the award at the 89th Academy Awards.
Grace Carter, meanwhile, has achieved some major milestones this year, after scoring a prominent spot in the BBC Sound of 2019 poll, and being added to Lewis Capaldi's sold out UK tour. She released her latest single, 'Don't Hurt Like It Used To', yesterday.
