The new track, titled 'PYNK' features Canadian singer Grimes. Monáe and Grimes have previously worked together on 'Venus Fly', a track from Grimes' 2015 album 'Art Angels'.

The accompanying music video features Monáe's rumoured girlfriend Tessa Thompson, who also starred in Monáes video for hit song 'Make Me Feel', inspired by collaborations with Prince prior to his death.
