The country star made his solo debut with Sirens Of The Ditch in 2007, followed by his 2013 breakthrough album Southeastern.
Country musician Jason Isbell has announced the release of his next solo album, Foxes in the Snow – out March 7.
Backed by Southeastern Records, Isbell released the first single off the album yesterday titled ‘Bury Me.’ His sold out UK and European tour, An Intimate Evening With Jason Isbell, kicks off in Berlin on February 2. He will perform in Dublin at Vicar Street February 12.
Isbell recorded Foxes in the Snow at the acclaimed Electric Lady Studios in New York City. He finished recording in October 2024 within just five days. The country artist has won six Grammy awards, and recently earned the Grammy for Best Americana Album with his band The 400 Unit for their record Weathervanes.
Isebell’s solo career began in 2007 after leaving southern-rock band the Drive-By Truckers. His music reflects on life in the southern US, touching themes of family, love and his sobriety. Apart from music, he has also made his debut as an actor in Martin Scorses’ Killers Of The Flower Moon. He will return to the screen for RZA’s upcoming drama One Spoon Of Chocolate.
