Jax Jones braved the elements to deliver a crowd pleasing set at Forbidden Fruit 2017
The biggest crowd of the festival so far gathered to see the 'You Don't Know Me' DJ do his thing, and he didn't disappoint.
Jones began his set at a blistering pace, dropping two huge tunes straight of the bat, with his smash hit 'House Work', and Format B's 'Chunky', which whipped the audience into an early frenzy.
Unfortunately for all concerned, the ever-delightful Irish weather decided to throw a spanner in the works, as the heavens proceeded to open. A great deal of the crowdfunding, (including this cowardly journalist!) fled for shelter, but a hardcore group stayed on to dance away regardless.
The hits continued to come, despite the soggy conditions, including the aforementioned 'You Don't Know Me' and Kiesza's 'Hideaway' to close out the 90 minute set.
Just before he left the stage, Jones took a moment to pass on a message to his adoring fans.
''Thank you for all of those who said F*CK YOU to the rain!''
