The Northern Irish singer will be releasing the accompanying music video at 7pm today.
Derry-born singer, JC Stewart, has released his newest single, ‘Hey Babe, I’m A Mess, I’m Sorry’, an emotional and sincere piano ballad.
The single was recorded in Stewart's makeshift studio in the Northern Irish town of Portrush and released via Stanley Park Records.
Stewart teamed with producers Mark Schick and Todd Clark on the single, who are best known for their work with Dermot Kennedy, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, and Elton John.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, the singer said that it was a song he wrote when he was at his lowest ebb two years ago.
“It’s about a numbness that came over me when it felt like my world was falling apart,” Stewart said. “It wasn’t written for anything other than the sake of writing, but it’s ended up being the blueprint for how I've worked on this new music for the past couple of years.”

“Although it's pretty different from what I've released previously, I hope people hear it as a song from an artist now free to do what I was meant to do in the first place,” He added.
The music video accompanying the single will be released at 7pm later today, and will showcase a series of flashbacks that signify the end of a previous era and the birth of a new one.
Captured with grainy black and white imagery, the video was directed by Jackson Ducasse and produced by Judith Kinsella.
Ducasse describes the video as “a surreal and symbolic exploration of the psychological breakdown and subsequent cycle of redemption that JC experienced in regaining control of his creative output and his life at large.”
The artist will have two homecoming shows in Northern Ireland at Ulster Sports Club, Belfast on June 3 and 4, before embarking on the I’m A Mess Tour in September, where he will be playing in The Limelight 2, Belfast, on the 11 and Whelan’s, Dublin, on the 12.
