The sprawling fields and stone structure of Beccative Abbey acts as the backdrop for Jehnova's new HoneyJD directed 'Porcelain' music video.
The South-African born Dublin rapper Jehnova has returned with a video for the previous Hot Press Track of the Day single 'Porcelain.'
It's the most recent of Jehnova's music videos after a collaboration with Brian McGuinness and David Christopher Lynch for 'Cape of Good Hope' last May. Like 'Cape of Good Hope,' the Sivv produced single's new video was directed by "the talented' HoneyJD.
Filmed in Beccative Abbey to enhance the song's enchanting qualities, the newly premiered video promises not just a glimpse of the historic site but also a venture into blending an "old-world charm" with Jehnova's contemporary smooth-as-silk sound. A visual masterpiece opening to shots of a cloudy day, fields dotting with cows, and towering stone structures, it captures the enrapturing feel of Jehnova's musical voice expertly.
On Instagram, Jehnova announced the premiere with an added a message addressed to his loyal fans.
"Love to the ones always check for J streaming the tracks and hitting up the shows, means a whole lot only getting started, Stuyvesant Out Now shouts my brother @siivvv_ with the immaculate beats to complement the rhymes to all my supporters peace and love J."

His first work of 2023, 'Porcelain' reminds listeners just what this Dublin artist is so well regarded for. His craft not only fuses the distinct tones of South African rhythms but incorporates rich Irish storytelling with hip-hop beats, styling gripping musical narratives about personal struggles, cultural identity, and social issues.
Jehnova's been building his career since before he released his 7-track debut EP Avenoir in 2021. 'Porcelain' follows both that debut collection and the 2022 track 'Golden Sceptre' upon which he worked with NUXSENSE and Sivv on. With an ingenious musical footprint that goes beyond rap and R&B, he's certainly an artist to keep watch of.
