Young's sound is a unique sound of rock and electro-pop.
London-based Irish singer-songwriter Jess Young has released her third official single, 'Holding On & Letting Go', alongside a stunning music video.
Her latest track follows the success of 'Champagne & Caviar' and 'I Don't Need You To Love Me' earlier this year.
The latter song bravely spoke of Young's experience of living in a woman's refuge in London following an abusive relationship, with lyrics exploring the concept of sexual capitalism.
'Holding On & Letting Go' was produced by Platinum award-winning producer Tom Allom, best-known for his work with legendary bands Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Def Leppard, among others.
Jess caught Allom's attention in 2017 after developing her unique sound of rock and electro-pop, alongside multi-Emmy nominated and Bafta award-winning sound engineer Nigel Health (Downton Abbey, Killing Eve).

The singer has now made major appearances in Ireland and the UK, booking The Janice Long Show on BBC Wales and The Pat Kenny Show at home.
The 'Holding On & Letting Go' video was directed by Luke Halls, whose multidisciplinary studio works with projection and video design for the performing arts.
Specialising in theatre, music and dance; Luke Halls has produced video design and animation content for artists such as U2, George Michael, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Katy Perry, Adele, Beyoncé and Rihanna.
"This song is absolutely for everyone who has had to let go of somebody they love, somebody they know they can't hold onto- but a part of them always will. Whether it's a lover, friend or a parent," Young said of her latest song.
Jess Young's third single 'Holding On & Letting Go' is available now on all streaming platforms.
