The Cork festival offers a mix of ticketed and free events throughout the seaside town.
The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival has announced its line-up for its 20th anniversary, taking place from 19-22 September.
As part of Culture Night on Friday, September 20, Jim White and Marissa Anderson will make their first collaborative appearance in Ireland, performing a free-to-attend improvised music set.
Elsewhere, acclaimed luthier George Lowden will host the Acoustic forum, an in-the-round style showcase featuring Niamh Regan, Preston Reed and Steve ón ‘dings.
Other acts taking the stage across the four days include John Robb, Grooveline, John Spillane, Cuas, Tragedy Ann, The Kates, The Next New Low, Moonfruits, Stanley Super 800 and Search Results.

Accompanying the selection of ticketed shows is a free session trail throughout Clonakilty town, which offers punters a variety of intimate live gigs spanning across various genres, from jazz to punk.
Since its inception in 2005 the award-winning festival has hosted the like of Marc Ribot, Sonic Youth’s Lee Rainaldo, GILLA Band, Pillow Queens and more.
