JJ72 have announced details of their new album and live dates around Ireland
JJ72 return to the scene in a major way with an album, single and tour in the pipeline.
With a line-up change that sees Hilary Woods replaced by Sarah Fox, former bassist of The Valves, the band have spent the last year working on their follow-up to 2002’s wonderfully epic I To Sky. The trio will release their third long player in summer preceded by a yet-to-be-decided download single at the beginning of May.
In support of this, they’ll undertake a UK and Ireland tour. Beginning at the Vaults in Cork (May 6), they’ll then visit Ten in Waterford (7); Dolans, Limerick (8); Roisin Dubh, Galway (10); Royal Theatre Ruby Room (11); Spring & Airbrake, Belfast (11); King Tuts, Glasgow (14); Cockpit, Leeds (15); Academy III, Manchester (17); 93 Feet East (18).

The Dubliners are also confirmed for the rawkfest that is the Download Festival (June 10), where they’ll be playing alongside Black Sabbath, System of a Down and Feeder.
