This year's Supersonic Festival will take place from August 30-September 1 2024.
Widely regarded as one of the UK's leading experimental festivals, Supersonic Festival has today announced its 2024 line up, featuring a wealth of Irish acts.
Birmingham's annual Supersonic Festival features a combination of music, art, film and other crafts, and this year will see the likes of Irish artists John Francis Flynn and ØXN take to the stage.
Sharing the news on the social media platform X, John Francis Flynn said, "Rock the F on if you please".
The first signing to the iconic record label Claddagh Records in 18 years, ØXN compromises of Lankum’s experimental doom folk in the form of Radie Peat, John ‘Spud’ Murphy and Eleanor Myler of Percolator and composer Katie Kim.
Another offshoot of Lankum, Ian Lynch- a founding member of the group is set to perform his solo project One Leg, One Eye.

This years line-up also includes Mohammad Syfkhan, a Kurdish singer and Bouzouki player residing in Carrick-on-Shannon. Syfkhan takes elements from Middle Eastern and North African music to create an atmosphere of joy, love and happiness in his work.
Supersonic 2024 will be the festival's 18th year running, having founded in 2003.
This year's Supersonic Festival is billed to take place from Friday August 30- Sunday September 1.
