Tickets for the tour dates go on sale tomorrow
John Francis Flynn has announced a major tour of Ireland and the UK for Autumn 2024.
The Irish leg of the tour kicks off at The Spirit Store in Dundalk (September 26) – before continuing on to Esker Arts Centre, Tullamore (27); Empire, Belfast (29); Dolan's, Limerick (October 3); Glór, Ennis (4); O'Keeffes, Clonmel (5); Róisín Dubh, Galway (6); The Green Room, Dingle (9); Mike The Pies, Listowel (10); St Luke's, Cork (11); a venue to-be-confirmed in Co. Clare (12); and Connolly's of Leap, West Cork (13).
The Dublin folk singer and multi-instrumentalist released his lauded second album, the Choice Prize-nominated Look Over The Wall, See The Sky, in November 2023, via River Lea, an imprint of Rough Trade.
John was among the performers at Shane MacGowan's funeral in Nenagh in December – joining Cáit O'Riordan for a rendition of 'I'm A Man You Don't Meet Every Day'. He also performed at The Pogues' recent Red Roses For Me 40th anniversary concert.
