Listen to the final song from the late American singer-songwriter below.
'I Remember Everything', the last song recorded by John Prine, has been released today, June 12.
The moving acoustic track was produced by Dave Cobb, and written by Prine alongside his longtime collaborator Pat McLaughlin – and is accompanied by a video featuring the legendary singer-songwriter performing the song at his home.
Last night, a star-studded line-up celebrated Prine's life and legacy on a livestream. Picture Show featured appearances from several of his friends and peers, including Kacey Musgraves, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Kurt Vile, Bill Murray, Iris DeMent, Margo Price, Amanda Shires and more.
Ahead of the livestream, Fiona Prine thanked her late husband’s fans for their support.
“We look forward to being with you all to remember and celebrate your friend and our beloved husband, dad, and grandpa,” she said in a statement. “Please keep yourselves safe and healthy until then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind messages — they really help.”
