John Spillane continues his DeBarra's residency with a virtual gig from behind the Clonakilty club's closed doors.
John Spillane will continue his now legendary residency at DeBarra's Folk Club in Clonakilty with a virtual gig on August 6. For nearly 20 years, he's played the first Thursday of ever month throughout snowstorms, floods, health scares -- and now lockdown.
Spillane and his band will perform two special shows as part of his 'Reeling Back the Years' series from behind closed doors on the DeBarra's stage, encompassing songs old and new from the Gaelic Hit Factory's back catalogue, spanning the last 30 years. Each show will be performed live, with an early show at 9pm GMT+1 to cater to Irish and European fans and a second show at 5pm CT / 6pm ET - (11pm GMT+1) for his North American fans.
The shows will be streamed exclusively via a private YouTube link, which will be emailed to ticket holders on the evening of the performance. Individual tickets are €12 and €10 (for students, OAPs, unwaged) and group tickets are €20 for people watching together within their own social bubbles. Purchase tickets here.
