It's a family affair in the ambiguously titled heist movie
John Travolta has seen better days. His film career has been in quite a lengthy dry patch and he can't escape derision for mispronouncing names at the Oscars (Adele Dazeem anyone?) and following those incidents up by creepily touching the face of the woman whose name he mispronounced...at the Oscars. But we aren't ready to fully dismiss Travolta just yet. The man was in Pulp Fiction! And while his latest, The Forger, doesn't look like a masterpiece to rival Tarantino's, it does look like a good bit of fun.
The Forger features a nice family tree of criminals, with Travolta playing a freshly released convict and master art forger tasked with an art heist for the ages. Who better to bring in than his old man (Christopher Plummer) and his son (Tye Sheridan)? Also, as the film is set in Boston, we know some wonderful accents will be involved.
