Fans have three options to get involved in the 'Back Christy' campaign – with physical copies of the album, access to an exclusive online performance and more up for grabs.
Ahead of the release of Christy Dignam's highly anticipated solo album, The Man Who Stayed Alive, on October 15, a campaign has been launched to allow fans to play a crucial role in the highly anticipated release.
The campaign will raise funds towards the production of the album, while also ensuring that the Aslan frontman and his family can benefit from the release, and help it reach the the top of the charts. 10% of all proceeds raised from the campaign will be donated to ARC Cancer Support Services, a charity close to Christy’s heart.
There are three options available to purchase as part of the campaign, including Album Seeder (€50), Album Kickstrer (€100), and Album Champion (€500).

In 2013, Christy was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called amyloidosis. Tragically, this is a terminal illness. In mid-2020, while undergoing chemotherapy, Christy devastatingly lost his father to Covid-19, as well as his beloved dog Jack, who had been his constant companion for 12 years.
To lift his spirits, Christy reached out to his friend, award-winning writer and producer Don Mescall, who had previously written the No.1 single ‘Too Late for Hallelujah’ for Christy and Aslan in 2012. He proposed creating a solo album to leave as a legacy piece – and, despite his health issues, the creative process began.
Imelda May features on the album, on a track entitled 'Song For Kathryn'.

"I would just like to thank everyone involved in the production of this very special album," Christy comments. "I am humbled and overwhelmed by the response we have gotten. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all."
'High', the first single from the project, is out tomorrow, Friday, August 27.
