It is the first Grammys performance for the 'Both Sides Now' singer, who is nominated for 'Best Folk Album.'
Joni Mitchell will perform the Grammy Awards this weekend, her first Grammy performance in a career spanning six decades.
The Recording Academy and Mitchell's team confirmed that the Canadian folk legend will make her Grammy performance debut on 4th February, which will be aired via telecast and livestream.

Joni Mitchell is a nine-time Grammy winner, achieving her first golden gramophone in 1969 for 'Best Folk Performance' for Clouds. She clinched her most recent Grammy award in 2022 when her archival compilation, Joni Mitchell Archives – Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963–1967), won 'Best Historical Album.'
Nominated for Best Folk Album, Joni Mitchell at Newport was recorded at the singer’s surprise set at Newport Folk Festival in 2022 — which she last appeared at in 1969 — with Brandi Carlile on the tracks 'Carey,' 'A Case of You' and 'Big Yellow Taxi.'

Mitchell joins an already impressive lineup for this year's ceremony, which includes U2 — who will stream their act from the Sphere in Las Vegas — Billy Joel, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo and Burna Boy.
The 2024 Grammy Awards will be emceed by former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, and broadcast via livestream on live.GRAMMY.com on Sunday 4th February (Monday 5th February at 01:00 GMT).
