Joshua Burnside has unveiled headline an Ireland and UK headline tour for 2025, which includes shows in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, Cork, Kerry and more. See below for the full list of IE and UK dates.
With his infectious blend of experimental folk, Burnside takes influence from alternative electronica and Irish folk, fermenting them with a fusion of field recordings, found sounds and an unorthodox approach to production.
Releasing his widely-acclaimed debut album, EPHRATA, in 2017 and a follow-up dropped during the pandemic, his music settles against the grain, in both sensibility and spirit. Raised in the north of Ireland - nestled between Strangford Lough and East Belfast - the singer-songwriter's music explores the economics of existence, family, trauma and renewal.
While EPHRATA took in weather-beaten landscapes, technological horrors and dreamy Colombian vistas, his sophomore follow-up, Into the Depths of Hell, channeled a much darker approach, melding swirls of clanging metallic sounds and alt-rock.

His forthcoming third album Teeth Of Time is comfortably and confrontationally situated between the alt-rock realms of early Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens, while retaining the indie singer-songwriter and traditional folk elements of Burnside's signature songwriting.
Last month, he released the double A-side single 'Marching Round The Ladies / The Good Life' which reflects on the artist's newfound fatherhood, aiming to capture the lullabies that would soothe his son.
