The Output music conference and showcase returns on February 8, with over 400 people expected to attend a day of seminars, panels and keynote speeches at Belfast's MAC, and featuring some of the country's best artists, as well as some of the music industry's most notable faces.
Some of the best home-grown talent will play a series of free showcase gigs, taking place across venues in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter. The showcase aims to create an opportunity for the travelling industry to sample and connect with some of 2017's most talked about new bands and artists, with shows presented by Irish promoters, festivals, management companies, blogs and media organisations.
Acts playing this year include NI Music Prize winner Joshua Burnside, Sam Wickens, who recently featured on Sky Arts' Tony Visconti's Unsigned Heroes, Derry-Londonderry teenager ROE, who is set to play at Eurosonic Festival in Holland later this month, and Empty Lungs who recently completed a 71 date headline tour across Europe. There will also be performances from Saffyre, Robocobra Quartet, Emerald Armada, New Pagans, Aislinn Logan, Silences, Day_S, Eve Belle, Mmode, Molly Sterling, Our Krypton Son, Alex & Echos, Rebekah Fitch, Roe Lilla Vargen, Bad Bones, Beauty Sleep, Reevah, Susie Blue, The Wood Burning Savages, Callum Stewart, Blue Americans, Katharine Philippa, Strange New Places, Search Party Animals, Larks, Empty Lungs, Kid Trench, Nathan O'Regan, Brash Isaac, Rosborough, No Oil Paintings, Hunkpapa, Hand Models, Everything Everything DJ's.
Showcase hosts include the likes of Nialler9, The Thin Air, Dublin based filmmakers Feel Good Lost, PRS for Music and IMRO.

The showcasing takes place from 8pm-12 midnight with the official Output Belfast after party featuring Everything Everything DJs taking place at Babel Rooftop Bar from midnight to late.
